Frequently Asked Questions

The Integrated Circuit Card Identification (ICCID) number is a globally unique identifier of a SIM card and its profile. This is the long number engraved or printed on the SIM card and on the credit card sized holder the SIM card comes in.

Click on Things in the sidebar menu of the management portal to see a list of your Monogoto SIM cards. To find a specific SIM card, enter its ICCID number in the search bar.

Yes, you can add additional users and even change existing users’ permissions in your Monogoto account.

Yes, you can choose to use specific countries and networks in the Monogoto management portal. To learn how to configure restrictions, watch the following video.

You can view the countries and networks by going into Roaming Restrictions of a Thing or Thing Group.

Yes, you can move your SIM cards from one Thing Group to another. Watch this video to learn more.

You can also move your SIM cards using Thing API PUT /thing/replaceGroup/

To check out available APNs (Access Point Names) for your device:  

  1. Login into the Monogoto portal
  2. Go to Network
  3. This lists the available networks that are assigned to your Monogoto account. 
  4. Look for the Apply Settings button in the Settings Status column. You can use this APN in your device configuration. 
  5. In the example below the correct APN to use would be data.mono. (Please note this is an example.)

 

 

Yes, you can create a report that would show all or only selected SIM cards usage.

This usually happens due to inactivity, or the device being disabled or not working for a few days. You need to restart your device for the SIM to start working again. Putting mobile phones in and out of flight more should get the SIM working again.

Yes, you can change the state of your SIM cards in the Monogoto management portal.
