The Role
Monogoto is looking for an intelligent and driven Assistant Controller to join our team. As an Assistant Controller, you will be a key contributor and leader for the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. You must be hands-on, roll up your sleeves type individual and should enjoy a fast-paced, start-up environment. The position requires strong financial, accounting and management skills, a strong business sense and the ability to understand the big picture while being detail oriented. The positing will report to the Chief Financial Officer and is located in Tel Aviv, Israel or US, Remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes of the Company and its subsidiaries
- Oversee billing, collection and payments to vendors
- Monitor and perform accounting analysis to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and reconcile intercompany charges/balances
- Assist preparing quarterly reports for investors, financial institutions, statutory reports, etc
- Assist with preparation of annual audits and tax reports with the Company’s external auditors
- Interact with other departments to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial analysis, reports, and recommendations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years in related experience
- CPA with a bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting required
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in GAAP and other accounting and auditing standards
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with NetSuite
- Ability to manage a complex set of objectives and team goals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluent in English
Compensation:
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience and work location.
